We know that when your car breaks down or you or in an accident, you feel stranded and frustrated. We are here to help!
When you take our car, can you help us get where we are going?
We will do our best to get you to a car rental location, hotel, train station, etc.
Can you fix our car on the side of the road?
We can bring you gas, provide lock out service if you locked the keys in the car, change a tire and jump start your car to save you a tow.
How do I know that you are a reputable business?
We understand that many tow truck operators and car repair shops have a bad reputation. We are a local business that wants to keep a good reputation. We are very involved in the community and strive for a good recommendation and repeat business.
I am a AAA member – how do I get your towing service to my car?
When you call AAA, you can request Jack’s TCH Towing. We only pick up for AAA in Southern Columbia County. Otherwise you can call us directly and get reimbursed by AAA.
I have been in an accident – how do I get you to tow me?
You can request any tow company to tow your car. Remember to always get pictures of your car before you are towed for insurance purposes!
I’m not from the area and my car broke down and I am stranded – What do I do?
We can recommend a local hotel, cab company, take you to the train station or to the local rental car company.
I am stranded on the side of the road – what can I do while I wait?
We are trying to get there as quickly as possible while obeying traffic rules. For your safety, put your four-way flashers on and keep your windows rolled up and doors locked. If someone does stop and it isn’t one of our marked trucks roll down the window an inch before they are close to the car and shout: “thanks but help will be here any minute”.
Should I flag you down? That is fine as long as you can do it safely! We know your location and will recognize the car so it really isn’t necessary if you have broken down on a highway. If you are in a large parking lot, it would be helpful! Please be careful and do not stand on the road while you are waiting.
Please let the tow truck driver do their job. The driver will be happy to answer any questions when they are in a safe area away from traffic.
